The idea of Metal Holocaust started somewhere in the middle of 2005 initially as radio mainly for friends. After several years as a Dj in Metal stores, participation in Metal bands and writing in some small fanzines,  Manos Moutftsis (founder of Metal Holocaust) dicided to create something more organized so that the correct information will exist, but the term of company not to be lost from the whole project. Now whether  it succeeded? Time will tell... At that time the first broadcasts of Metal Holocaust Radio started (Metal on Metal everyday 22:00 to 07:00 at first) with only purpose to listen and promote the music we love. So when in time more Djs where added to Metal Holocaust's potential (Necro, Christopher, Nord, Father Alex) the station's program started little by little to cover even bigger part of the whole spectrum of Rock and Metal music.
Unfortunately the summer of 2008, due to Manos' military obligations, Metal Holocaust had to put on hold and the only proadcast that continued to exist, as exceptional on leaves etc, was the Metal On Metal show.
2009 was the year of reorganization. After finishing the military and with a crazy appetite for continuing the company of Metal Holocaust, Manos decided to find new Djs who put above all the appetite and taste. So once again started on daily basis the show  Metal On Metal ((17:00-20:00 now), Dj Necro continued for a little longer, and in our company "crazy" Dj Texas was added (later joined the editorial team of Metal Holicaust Webzine) with a show fully dedicated to the Greek Metal scene (Greek Assault). After the forced departure of Necro, the team of Metal Holocaust consisted (fortunately for short time) exclusively from Mano and Texas, who heroically kept a completely 48hour live, playing music almost from all the genres of Rock and Metal. Then G-Ace was added in the team with the daily show "That who everyone else don't play" and Metal Holocaust slowly started for once more to orginize. Important was the help of Sophia K. as P.R and Niko "Bannerakia" and Alice "Domine" at graphic issues. We thank them all warmly!!!
At the end of 2009 the idea of the Webzine got into us, so that we could offer the friends of Metal the best and the fullest information as possible. Metal Holocaust Webzine started officialy on January 2010 and for a few months was the exclusive duty of Mano's. With the valuable help of Dimitri "MPHM", the Webmaster of Metal Holocaust Radio/Webzine we managed in a very short time to depart from our temporary page (http://www.metalholocaustradio.blogspot.com) and to obtain our own webpage, which is online from March 2010. New Djs got in touch with us and they started shows at that point, Dj Volrath with the show Heathen Assault (another valuable Dj and author), Dj Xomo (Hard Stories), (Metal Militia and New Releases) Dj Kostas "Megadeth" (editor for a while), Dj Wasted & Dj Liakos (Bang Your Head), although the last four unfortunately didn't manage to stay close to us. In the potential of Metal Holocaust's they began be added new aditors. Goat, the Klepsydra, Τenebra, Mitsos "MPHM", Texas, Volrath and more recently Lethal, Dimosthenis Dermitzoglou, Blade, Sotos and of course Kostas Kounadinis (new huge transcription). At this
time the shows  Legendary Tales (Dj Blade), Trick Or Treat (Dj Lethal), Αrt of Metal were started and Altar Of Sacrifice today (Dj Sotos) and also the show Heavy Metal Is The Law with the Dj Aki.
September 2010, and after a new very creative season was started, we had the honor to welcome in our Metal Holocaust team a very important and valuable partner, Antony Katsaro with the show "Metal Rhapsodies", which is proadcasted on Thursday 20:00-22:00.
Soon we are preparing several other interesting things.
