Is a non profet webzine. There is no financial benefit from dealong with this subject. This "financial independence" allows the authors to unaffected expression of their opinion by giving them a free character, away from corporate sondiderations and financial commitments.There has been or will be in the future a "suggestion" by the owner, the promoters, the companies, the managers or the "friends" who are playing in bands about the line that someone has to follow in his/hers writings. Our sole criterion is our auditory perception.We try to express our opinion with non offensive, defiant or provocative way.Our aim is to cover all the spectrum of hard sound, with emphasis in the domestic scene of Cyprus.We don not express political or religious beliefs and we respect the everyone's individual freeedoms. If there will be any position upon the specific issues, are purely subjective and whenever expressed in any form, by any author of our team, it bears his/hers signature.We are a team, we operate as a team, but everyone of us is an individual entity, with different story, perceptions, ideas etc. This means that there are different aspects and that the opinion of an author does not necessarily represents the rest of the editorial team.We seek the existance of a proffesional level in our work. This requires proffessionalism in conduct with the people with whom we work with, starting with the bands and reaching the concert organizers. We are open to cooperating proposals with record labels and promoters, sufficient to the requirements we set for a healthy cooperation.To accommodate everyone equally, must similarly act appropriately. For example when we receive material that is not even mixed or it does not bear any kind of information about the artist and the songs or does not refer to a website, it is at least unfair to the other bands to act guided by our good will. Any band wishes to send its work at Chomium Sun in order to be revied should take under consideration that: a) the cd must be accompanied by info about the band and the genre of music being dealt with. b) the production of the sound must be in a decent level, so that it will be helpful to the editor for having a better aspect for the content of the cd.Any hypocrisy or duplicity in the context of diplomacy and the good public relations not only expresses us, but is a behaviour that we directly criticize, where and when is detected.When you criticize, you must also accept criticism. But it is sufficient not to try creating empressions. Suffice that the criticism be constructive and with arguments.We defend our opinion with passion and courage. Nobody never was improved or developed through the stagnation or the passive attitude toward things. Chromium Sun does not have the intention to blame or criticize other webzines, publications or other forms of information, that they deal with the same subject, but ot preserve their acquired rights and ideas.We are also friends of our favorite music and we simply submit our opinion. In order to operate the whole thing we should all be - scene, "backround", fans, editors, organizers and any other person is involved indirectly and directly- a group and not to lose the essence: our love for the music.
