Hammer & Heavy Metal was initially published as Heavy Metal magazine back in December 1984, which makes us more than 24 years old (ehhh????????) We’re proud to be one of the oldest metal mags in the whole fucking universe and beyond. On March 1988 the mag merged with Metal Hammer and became Metal Hammer & Heavy Metal after that. Since the early 90’s the mag operates independently and nowadays features 148 as heavy as possible pages including the Horror section which is devoted to more extreme forms of music. So if you’re into metal, you’re all invited to be our friends.
