As lovers and record collectors of the Hellenic scene we started from 1994-95 listening anything tha was generating our interest and continuously collecting all vinyls from '80s to '90s, having an attraction for the warm analog sound and the black ditches. December of '08 found us in a odd phase where we were tired to say that everything goes slowly and constipation in the microcosm of the Greek scene and so we decided to take things into our own hands, at least to the extent that we could. Searching in the internet to find the name that we baptise our record label as first choice was the "B-Sides" but of course we stumbled over to our friends from Patra and listening to their songs we inflicted two in one: and we started the record label lostarchives as B-otherSide Records and we knew what our first work was going to be, which we worship. At the same time with the fresh today's sound the one we listen unfailingly we had another hobby: The registration of the Hellenic bands from the incunabula of Hellenic rock, namely from 1963 and after so that sometime later to give a comprehensive encyclopedic presentation in a book. After those searches it came in our hands a anecdote material from the decades of '60s and '70s which in many times left us speachless with its uniqueness and believing in the presenting value the little brother was born " Lost Archives". Last stop in this creative journey is the newly born bothersidedigital B-otherSide Digital from which are going to be released some modern releasies in cd format, in general though our purpose is to give interest and base to vinyl and responding to the call of the times, ou efforts focus at the earliest possible financial solutions without though a discount in its quality while in the next plans are and some coporations with other famous Hellenic labels in the near future. Until then return to analog magic! Vinyl is back!
Ως λάτρεις και συλλέκτες δίσκων της ελληνικής σκηνής ξεκινήσαμε από το 1994-95 ακούγοντας οτιδήποτε μας προκαλούσε το ενδιαφέρον και μαζεύοντας ανελλιπώς όλα τα βινύλια από το '80 και το '90, έχοντας μια έλξη για τον ζεστό, αναλογικό ήχο και τα μαύρα αυλάκια. Ο Δεκέμβρης του '08 μας βρήκε σε μια περίεργη φάση όπου είχαμε βαρεθεί να λέμε ότι όλα πάνε αργά και δυσκοίλια στον μικρόκοσμο της ελληνικής σκηνής οπότε και είπαμε να πάρουμε την κατάσταση στα χέρια μας, στον βαθμό τουλάχιστον που μπορούσαμε. Ψάχνοντας στο διαδίκτυο να βρούμε το όνομα που θα βαπτίζαμε την δισκογραφική σαν πρώτη επιλογή μας προέκυψε το B-Sides αλλά φυσικά πέσαμε πάνω στους Πατρινούς φίλους μας και ακούγοντας τα τραγούδια τους καταφέραμε δύο σε ένα: και ξεκινήσαμε την δισκογραφικήlostarchives ως B-otherSide Records και ξέραμε ποια θα ήταν η πρώτη μας δουλειά, την οποία και λατρεύουμε. Παράλληλα με τον φρέσκο σημερινό ήχο τον οποίο ακούμε ανελλιπώς είχαμε και ένα ακόμη χόμπι: Την καταγραφή των ελληνικών συγκροτημάτων από τα σπάργανα της ελληνικής ροκ, δηλαδή από το 1963 και μετά ώστε κάποια στιγμή να προκύψει μια ολοκληρωμένη εγκυκλοπαιδική παρουσίαση σε ένα βιβλίο. Μέσα από αυτές τις αναζητήσεις ήρθε στα χέρια μας και ανέκδοτο υλικό από τις δεκαετίες του '60 και του '70 το οποίο πολλές φορές μας άφησε άναυδους με την μοναδικότητα του και πιστεύοντας στην αξία της παρουσίασης του γεννήθηκε το μικρό αδερφάκι Lost Archives. Τελευταία στάση σε αυτό το δημιουργικό ταξίδι είναι η νεογέννητηbothersidedigital B-otherSide Digital από την οποία θα εκδοθούν κάποιες σύγχρονες κυκλοφορίες σε cd ,γενικότερα όμως σκοπός μας είναι να δώσουμε βαρύτητα και βάση στο βινύλιο και ανταποκρινόμενοι στο κάλεσμα των καιρών, οι προσπάθειες μας επικεντρώνονται σε όσο το δυνατόν πιο οικονομικές λύσεις χωρίς όμως καμιά έκπτωση στην ποιότητα του ενώ μέσα στα προσεχή σχέδια μας είναι και κάποιες συμπαραγωγές με άλλα γνωστά ελληνικά label στο άμεσο μέλλον. Μέχρι τότε επιστροφή στην αναλογική μαγεία! Vinyl is back!
