Upon Revival is an alternative metal/modern rock band from Athens, Greece. They were formed in early 2015. They are consisted of: Anastasia Pap (vocals), Ben Pap(guitars), Gus Oikonomo (guitars), John Bacalis (bass) and Teo Motakis (drums). Their collective goal is the creation of original material, but also interesting covers of beloved songs. Their influences are varied from the atmospheric/lyric female-fronted movement of groups like Evanescence and Within Temptation to the progressive forms of Porcupine Tree and the modern metal vibe of Disturbed and Alter Bridge, combined with classic heavy metal influences. Despite being new to the music scene, they have accomplished many appearances in remarkable stages of Athens like ''Αrchitektoniki'', ''Texnopolis'', the historic ''Kuttaro'' and many more. Their debut EP entitled ''Epiphany'' was released on April 30th, is available now on their Bandcamp page: https://uponrevival.bandcamp.com/releases as well as their YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCioekbalnOCiC5pWh8fHkGAOn June 30th 2017 Upon Revival shared the stage of Chania Rock Festival along wth Blind Guardian, Septic Flesh, Sailing To Nowhere and SL Theory.
