Τη Πέμπτη 5 Μαΐου στο Αn Club, οι COAB στα πλαίσια του ευρωπαικού tour τους, και της επερχόμενης κυκλοφορίας του δεύτερου άλμπουμ τους, “Glorious Days”, έρχονται για δεύτερη φορά στην Αθήνα, και θα μοιραστούν τη σκηνή με 2 από τις πιο δυνατές Αθηναϊκές μπάντες, τους YDS και τους CD..Σας προσκαλούμε, σε ένα εκρηκτικό rok n’ roll party..Be brave n’ support the bands LIVECOAB:Cherries On A Blacklist is a Greek/Mexican band currently located inHamburg, Germany formed by Andreas (Guitar/Vocals), George (GuitarVocals), Malapärt (Drums/Vocals), and Gonzo (Bass). Gonzo replaced formerbassist and vocalist Sebastian Knop in 2009.Cherries On A Blacklist recorded their first EP titled “14” in the summer of2008. Their debut album “Lakafigo” was recorded in winter of 2010 withproducer Olman Viper (Null Zwei Studios in Hamburg) who has worked withbands such as Caliban, Kreator, and Emil Bulls. In August 2011 the bandfounded their own label named “Grey Ham Records” and through thatreleased their first single “Goat in the Yard” on October 14th, 2011. The singlewas followed by their debut album “Lakafigo” on May 4th, 2012.“Lakafigo” was well received by the media (reviews, interviews, airplays, etc.)from all around the globe (Germany, France, England, Greece, Italy, Spain,Holland, India, Canada, U.S.A, Australia, etc.).The band has performed around Europe, and shared the stage with bandssuch as D.A.D, Die Happy, Ohrenfeindt, Planet of Zeus, One Fine Day, andAsteroid. In 2013 Cherries On A Blacklist headlined their first internationalshow at the VIT Riviera Festival in Vellore, India.In 2014 Cherries On A Blacklist, and producer Olman Viper started therecording of their second album “Glorious Days”. The album was recorded liveat the famous Horus Sound Studio (Guano Apes, Emil Bulls, Donots,Paradise Lost) in Hannover, Germany.One year later, George decided to take some time off from the band due topersonal reasons. After careful thought, and consideration the role was finallytaken over by long time friend Vasilis. On October 30th of 2015 Cherries On ABlacklist released “Barrel of a Gun” the first single of their second album“Glorious Days”. “Glorious Days” is planned for release in the summer of2016.YDS:Thousand of miles away from the US west coast and a certain rainy city that spawned a handful of bands in the 90’s, lives a trio, hotter that the spicy sauce it’s named after. Don’t let their youngish looks fool you, Yellow Devil Sauce have been at it for more than a decade and are still going strong.It all started in 1999 when Alex (guitars, vocals), George (drums) and Costas (bass) got together and started rehearsing. The talent was apparent and a 1st place in a Battle of the Bands type of contest was granted very soon. “DeskJob” demo was released in 2001, giving a taste of the band’s main ingredients, a massif rhythm section, adventurous guitar lines, amazing vocal delivery. The influence from Tool, Nirvana and the Seattle scene in general was obvious but well received as the band was too good at it. In 2004, Costas -a great bassist- left due to artistic differences. In came Theodoris (ex Crimson Sunsets), equally great at his bass but with a frame of mind closer to the band’s perspective.The new line up soon entered the studio for the band’s eponymous debut. Covered in mustardish colours, Yellow Devil Sauce was released in 2006 through the indie label X-art.ici Music, going down the same lane as the demo, musicwise.In 2010, a cooperation between the band, Spinalonga Records, Catch The Soap Productions and TFK Productions brings “Early Dinner At Dr.Chakravartis” to light.
